A Former Casino Dealer

I'm not sure if a good percentage of the people in this state are aware that this past August 12th there was a primary election for State seats in Nevada, and seats on the bench. There were four people running that had the tip earners back.

They were Assemblyman Bob Beers, Meghan Smith, Lou Toomin and Don Chairez. He was running for the Supreme Court. Well they all lost, because no one took 15 minutes of their time to vote. I know you all voted. (NOT). In Clark County 6% of the people voted. Of that 6%, 70% were over the age of 50.

That leaves you dealers out. Well now we have no one in Carson City to watch our backs. Good job! So if you are a Wynn dealer, guess what? Come June 5th what Steve Wynn is doing will be legal. How does that sound? So the law suit you have against him and the money he may owe you will stop at that point.

Also it will give all the other casinos the right to do it. Again I say good job! I can remember a time that Bob Beers took the time to have a meeting at a library, and 400 people showed up for that. But I ran two fund raisers, and I could only get 150 between the two of them.100 dinners at Nora's , 50 people at the park by Bob's house, I know you were busy, well you have no one to blame but  the person you see in the mirror every morning.

I thank God for one important thing. My parents took the time to teach me to stand up for the people that stand up for me. I can see that yours did not take the same time to do that for you.

Sincerely,
Kenneth R Blackman
